It’s not uncommon to book Profound Sounds up to two years in advance, but we have also seen an uptick in last-minute bookings this year. While ideally, we’d love to have more time to prepare, we are here to adapt and make your day a blast, regardless of the booking date!
We have been in the wedding business since 2006 and are so happy to have rounded the 5,000 event mark this year!
Our collection of music covers all genres and cultures! If you have rare family songs or cultural music that may not be as readily-available as other genres, we make sure that we procure any and every song that represents you, your family, and your event!

We offer a free consultation before a contract is even signed, to help get your questions answered and earn your business with our expertise. Upon payment of the retainer, we are at your service, as much as you need us, all the way until the day-of!

Yes. We regularly work with couples in New York and travel nationwide. Travel details are discussed during the consultation and booking process.

Profound Sounds is made up of classically-trained musicians and DJs who give extra care to the music they play. From club performances to festival sets, our DJs and musicians have a special something when it comes to entertaining; mixing flawlessly between genres seamlessly and being the life of the party!
Our process for creating a timeline depends on where you are in your planning! We love to help from the beginning but often have to work closely with your planner to ensure that everyone is aligned.
