  • Absolutely, we encourage our couples to really put time into their playlists and are here every step of the way to give suggestions and stay as true to your musical vision as possible. Check out our curated playlists for inspiration.

  • We offer a free consultation before a contract is even signed, to help get your questions answered and earn your business with our expertise. Upon payment of the retainer, we are at your service, as much as you need us, all the way until the day-of!

  • We find that most couples like to have plenty of lead time to coordinate with their DJs and musicians. It’s not uncommon to book Profound Sounds up to two years in advance, but we have also seen an uptick in last-minute bookings this year. While ideally, we’d love to have more time to prepare, we are here to adapt and make your day a blast, regardless of the booking date!

  • Profound Sounds is made up of classically-trained musicians and DJs who give extra care to the music they play. From club performances to festival sets, our DJs and musicians have a special something when it comes to entertaining; mixing flawlessly between genres seamlessly and being the life of the party!

  • We are open to any and every request! Typically we like for the request to match with your music tastes, so we use some discretion when fielding them. We also work very closely with you to determine artists, genres, & songs that you’d like to avoid.

  • All of our entertainers are trained in public speaking, ready to eloquently engage your guests!

  • Profound Sounds is fully insured, rest assured!

  • Our collection of music covers all genres and cultures! If you have rare family songs or cultural music that may not be as readily-available as other genres, we make sure that we procure any and every song that represents you, your family, and your event!

  • Our process for creating a timeline depends on where you are in your planning! We love to help from the beginning but often have to work closely with your planner to ensure that everyone is aligned.
